A New Voice For Ireland
We are pleased to introduce a new rising star among Irish nationalists - although she needs no introduction for many of you who have attended Irish Ireland protests recently - Ciara Ní Mhainnín! Her uncompromising voice offers a clear challenge to the establishment and a great example for us all to follow.
Ciara very kindly took the time to join us in an online interview, which we are delighted to publish here.
ACS: What made you decide to get involved with the Irish Ireland cause, was there one particular event or was it more of a process?
CNM: Multiple videos that circulated showing busloads of "Ukrainian women and children", who were in fact military aged men was enough for me. The Irish people were fed the Ukrainian sob story as an excuse to open our borders and let half the world in. Unfortunately the majority of the country fell for it.
ACS: How would you say recent changes in Ireland have affected you personally and your local area in general?
CNM: People who would have avoided me are now thanking me for speaking out. Obviously, there's still plenty who disagree with my views but I'll be here to help those people when they join the dots. As for changes in the area, it's strange seeing people on our streets head to toe in abayas and hijabs. The invasion and replacement is well and truly underway.
ACS: What changes would you like to see happening in your local area?
CNM: Plenty will agree there's a lot gone wrong in the country but too many care what the neighbours think! I'd like to see people overcome their fears, find their voice and stand up for our country, our communities. The mainstream media have brainwashed people to believe that putting the indigenous Irish people first in their own country is wrong.
ACS: Do you have any plans to become more politically active?
CNM: I'm not politically affiliated with any party and I'm not sure if it would suit me. I like to do my own thing, I'm very vocal so I don't know if I'd work well having to watch my Ps and Qs! But who knows what's down the track.
ACS: If you decide to run for office, what would you say to people who ask why they should vote for you instead of more established candidates?
CNM: Irish people must come first in this country. Not ifs, no buts, Irish people on the top of every single list.
Mass deportations must begin.
I want the transgender ideology nonsense wiped from the school curriculum. Brainwashing children doesn't sit right with me and shame on anyone complicit in doing so. In a school environment too, disgusting!
ACS: How have you found dealing with the various groups in the Irish Ireland movement?
CNM: I get on with most people in the movement. There's going to be disagreements and arguments of course, we've been thrown together in the last few years. We are not all going to gel and that's OK. I'll work with anyone who's main focus is to save Ireland. I've helped with the flags at protests, I gave a hand on the door at Mise Éire, I've spoken in different towns, I've walked the city centre leafletting! I will do anything to help our cause and our country.
ACS: How did you begin making speeches at Irish Ireland events?
CNM: It just kinda happened! I spoke in February in Kells, when we started our campaign against the IPAS Centre in Kells Business Park. Years of information, frustration and emotion came out that night. Mick OKeeffe edited my speech to a 3 minute clip and it went everywhere. I'm the same on the mic as I am if you meet me on the street and I think that's what people like. Before I knew it, I was speaking to thousands in Dublin and Cork!
ACS: You recently did an interview with an immigrant which went viral - how did that happen?
CNM: Pure chance! He was walking towards us and I said let's see if this chap will speak to us. It went viral from there! Believe it or not, it was my first time to do something like that!
ACS: We understand he was upset with the publication of the interview and threatened legal action - has anything come of that?
CNM: Funnily enough no, his lawyer hasn't been in touch with me. I can only assume that "his lawyer" advised against taking on a strongminded Irish woman.
ACS: In the long term, tell us about where you'd like to see Ireland and the Irish Ireland movement going.
CNM: Ireland belongs to the Irish people. We need remigration. We need to get back to a strong majority Irish nation. Immigration across the board is the problem, not just "illegal". These migrants have homes to go to, we are home so it's time we started making that known.
In regards to the movement, we need to work together. No egos, no tit for tat arguments. Just a strong Irish nation working to get our homeland back. People can go back to fighting with each other when we get this country back.

The last address of Thomas MacDonagh
There is not much left to say. The Proclamation of the Irish Republic has been adduced in evidence against me as one of the Signatories. I adhere to every statement in the Proclamation. You think it already a dead and buried letter, but it lives, it lives. From minds alight with Ireland’s vivid intellect it sprang; in hearts aflame with Ireland’s mighty love it was conceived. Such documents do not die.
The British occupation of Ireland has never for more than one hundred years been compelled to confront in the field of fight a Rising so formidable as that which overwhe

From A Hermitage - DECEMBER 1913
I was once stranded on a desert island with a single companion. When two people are stranded on a desert island they naturally converse. We conversed. We sat on a stony beach and talked for hours. When we had exhausted all the unimportant subjects either of us could think of, we commenced to talk about important subjects. (I have observed that even on a desert island it is not considered good form to talk of important things while unimportant things remain to be discussed.)
We had very different points of views, and very different temperaments. I was a boy; my companion was

On Emigration
From An Claidheamh Soluis, July 18, 1903.
In a letter to the Freeman’s Journal of Friday last, the Hon. Secretary of the Anti-Emigration Society directs attention to the grim figures revealed by the latest emigration returns issued by the Board of Trade.
‘They show,’ she writes, ‘that 23,401 Irish emigrants left the United Kingdom in the first six months of the current year as against 20,610 in the corresponding period of 1902, and that the outflow has therefore increased by 2,791 for the half year. Over two thousand of this incr
